Rise in Measles and Mumps in London

We have seen a rise in the number of cases of Measles and Mumps in London over the last 6 months.

New cases are more common in young adults who have travelled to other parts of Europe on holiday, acquired the infection there and then transmitted this to unvaccinated household members on their return.

Going to University this year?

If you have not been vaccinated in the past and you are planning to start University this September, our advice is to have the MMR vaccination to provide protection against measles and mumps.
